What is Black Swan?

What are Needed
To enjoy shaved ice, all you need is a shaved ice machine, serving bowl and syrup. A transparent glass bowl is ideal as it gives cool atmosphere. The one in the picture is Tsugaru Vidro, which provides not only cool but also fancy atmosphere.
If you add your favorite fruits as toppings, you can enjoy more gorgeous shaved ice. This time we are going to show you how to make basic shaved ice and how to use a shaved ice machine (Black Swan).
How to Use Black Swan
1. Prepare ice
Put water in the attached ice tray cube to freeze. To take the ice out of the tray, leave it at room temperature for a while, or wet it in running water. By this, the ice can get out of the tray smoothly and will be fluffier when shaved.
Take the ice out of the tray and put it in the shaved ice machine.
2. Set the ice in the shaved ice machine
Pull up the handle on the top and set the ice inside.
Get the handle down and ensure the spines are stuck in the ice.
3. Shave the ice
Put the serving bowl under the machine and rotate the handle clockwise. Then, the shaved ice will pile up in the bowl.
4. Add syrup and toppings
You can add your favorite syrup or condensed milk. If you further add fruits such as mangos, strawberries and watermelons, it will taste even better.
