Kaginushi Industry Co., Ltd. specializes in portable shichirin grills made of diatomaceous earth and charcoal. Founded in 1932 as a brick manufacturer, they have been manufacturing portable grills in Suzu City on the Noto Peninsula, the oldest and the largest site for diatomaceous earth shichirin grills. They use 100% of diatomaceous earth gathered on the peninsula, a material highly appreciated for its high heat insulation capacity for shichirin making.
