Background

MIYAWO Company Ltd. was founded in Yokkaichi, Mie, Japan in 1931, and started with the production of high quality novelties under the name of PY/Miyao, working with American distributing companies from 1949 to 1961. Then it started exporting the products to MIKASA USA. The vintage novelties in those days have been stored and exhibited at Yokkaichi Municipal Museum since 2013. Today, the company's line of business includes manufacturing of porcelain electric insulators and other electrical insulators. Miyawo Company Ltd. joined Maruri Tamaki Rikizo Shoten Group in 2015.
