I would have loved to receive this knife and paid $20 for rush shipping as this was a birthday gift. Unfortunately the knife never arrived. I followed up with customer service and was told to wait a few more days. I contacted customer service again and was told that there had been an attempted delivery and posted notice left. If a notice was left, it somehow disappeared before I could find it. Usually 3 attempts are made to deliver a package before it is returned to USPS. In my case it was supposedly attempted once and then returned to USPS where it then headed back to Japan. Customer service agent Sachiyo Sato that this "this case is not on us" and I was thanked for my understanding that I would not be refunded for my shipping and only for the product when they received it back. I had tried to support this company by purchasing from them directly but was forced to lose time, money and patience in trying to find where my item was. In the end, I purchased the product from Amazon, which I should have done all along. Amazon sent me the knife within 3 days and I didn't pay a dime for shipping as it is included in my Prime Membership. Lesson learned.
