Placing Orders

Step.1 You can display the prices in your local currency by selecting from the dropdown menu.
Please note that all orders are processed in JPY (Japanese Yen).
Even the content of your cart is displayed in your local currency, you will checkout using JPY at the most current exchange rate.

When you have finished shopping, click the “CHECKOUT” button on your shopping cart to checkout.
If you agree to our Terms and Conditions, tick the box by clicking on it.

Select your country from the dropdown menu and enter your zip/post code.
You can see the shipping rates by clicking the “CALCULATE SHIPPING RATES” button before checkout.

Step.2 Sign into your account and enter your shipping details.
If you have our promotion code, enter it here and click the "Apply” button.

Select your preferred shipping and payment method on the following pages.
Globalkitchen.japan accepts the following forms of payment:

Import Taxes & Customs Fees

Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to shopping.

Globalkitchen.japan will not be liable for packages refused or held by customs for delivery. We request that you contact your customs office and ask about import regulations and restrictions before placing your order.
It is important for you to become familiar with customs policies for your specific country before ordering.

Customs regulations differ by country and not knowing their regulations can result in your order incurring high import duties, the delivery being delayed or even returned.
Please check with your customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of the products you are planning to order from us and if any additional licenses or permits are needed.

Out-of-Stock Items & Back Orders

Should an item on your order be out of stock, we will notify you via email the expected in-stock date. Your remaining order will ship on time and the out-of-stock item will ship when available at no extra charge to you.

Damage

If you have a product that was damaged during delivery, please e-mail us (support@globalkitchenjapan.com) with photos of your damaged item within 7 days after receiving it.

Wrong Item

If you believe there has been a mistake with your order, we will do all we can to remedy the problem. Contact us and we will take care of it.

Please Note

If your order is returned to us due to a banned/restricted products policy, a wrong address, refusal to pay customs fees, refusal to accept the order or because no one was there to accept delivery of your order, we will refund your credit card as follows: You will be refunded the total amount of the order, minus the shipping charge, and 20% of the value of the order, (as a re-stocking fee). We will also subtract any other outside charges Globalkitchen.japan has incurred during shipping, such as warehousing fees, return postage fees, etc.

Please be sure that the addresses are correct, the recipient knows the package is coming and that location is suitable for daytime delivery of packages.
