• This is a standard mortar.
• The comb patterns inside are manually made by craftsmen.
• It is an authentic mortar with good grinding functionality.
• Size 4 and 5 are intended for grinding only sesame. If used for mixing ingredients, not only grinding, Size 6 and 7 are more appropriate. Sie 8 is recommended for use for at least 5 servings.

Use & Care

• The white circle trace inside is powder that prevents mortars sticking when nested for baking.
• Before first use, wash inside with a scourer to remove white powder (the powder is totally safe and harmless even when accidentally getting in mouth.)
• Compatible with microwaves, dishwashers, and boiling sterilization.
• The glass coating inside prevents water absorption and stains (except heavy stains) can be removed by washing with a sponge.
• When stains get stuck in the comb patterns, they can ve removed by scrubbing with a scourer.
